After I finish the Task 2 modules, should I submit an essay or do the Task 1 modules?
Submitting a Task 2 essay before going on to Task 1 is a good idea because this will give you more time to fix your key grammar and vocabulary mistakes.
After you get your Task 2 essay correction feedback, work on fixing your key mistakes. After you have made some progress on your mistakes*, then move on to Task 1.
*Here are some ways to tell if you've made progress:
- Complete the relevant modules in your course. The teacher will tell you what these are in your correction feedback.
- Submit another Task 2 essay. The teacher will tell you if you repeated the same key mistakes or not.
- Use the Challenges & Skills in the VIP Community related to your key mistakes. If you can complete the exercises without making mistakes, then you are making progress.
- Use the global feedback in the VIP Community to understand how to recognise and fix common key mistakes. Listen to the teacher's feedback and check your work to see if you made any of the mistakes the teacher mentions.
