I have a question about my feedback. What should I do?

First, please watch this video

Follow-up help from a teacher in not included with your feedback. This means that we cannot give you feedback on any part of your essay that you try to improve based on your feedback. However, we can help you find the resources you need to fix a certain key mistake (eg. writing relevant examples).

While it can be useful to try to improve your essay after you have received feedback, the only way to know if you have overcome your key mistakes is to submit another essay and get feedback again.

If you have questions about why the teacher corrected something related to grammar and vocabulary, then the simple reason is because you made a mistake.

When it comes to vocabulary, your mistake might not be with the meaning of the word; it might be with the grammar pattern you used, the collocation, the register (ie. too informal), or it might simply not be idiomatic (ie. you phrased things awkwardly).

The most effective and efficient way of improving your grammar and vocabulary is to use the resources the teacher suggested in your feedback video to improve in this area so that you don't repeat the same type of mistake next time.

If you did not get the score you need because of mistakes with grammar and vocabulary, then follow this advice:

How can I improve my vocabulary?

How can I improve my grammar?

If you think the teacher made a mistake in your correction, please send a screenshot of the PDF, the time in the video the teacher mentions it, and a screenshot of the research you have done that proves that the teacher made a mistake.
