Use of Idiomatic language is essential for earning a Band 7 in Lexical Resource during the speaking test, and the most appropriate way to ensure you do this is to start using phrasal verbs in everyday speech. Later, when you take the test, you'll find them very useful, and you'll also find that you can use them in a wide variety of situations. Here's an example:
Rather than saying, "I plan to continue studying English long after I've passed this exam," you could instead simply say, "I plan to keep on studying English long after I've passed this exam."
