Can I submit an essay to the correction service that is not from your list of questions?
We only provide feedback on the essays that are on our list.
There are several reasons for this:
- The questions we use are similar to the ones that appear on actual IELTS tests. The list is extensive and contains all of the different Task 1 and Task 2 essay types.
- It would be ineffective and inefficient to allow students to send us essays answering questions which are not appropriate.
- We want to provide you with a Band 9 sample answer along with your feedback.
If you have written an essay from a question that is not on our list, you can use the Writing Self-Evaluation Form to assess yourself. If you would like feedback from a teacher, you can purchase a 1-to-1 lesson.
